This 2 hour video from 20 years ago (1999) showcases not only the final farewell to the Big Blue units in My home state, but it’s also historic since the Boston subdivision is a thing of the past due to Beacon park Yard being abandoned after January 2013. Today it is now the Worcester subdivision (if it counts piggyback trailers and Doublestack containers) and/or the Framingham subdivision (for all power units and the remaining freight cars). The highlight of the show is the radio communication during the transition of Conrail to CSX in the midnight hours. Even though the camera says it transforms from May to June.
