In part 1 of the 2-part un-narrated series, there is a huge variety of electric action in & around Chicago on the Chicago, North Shore & Milwaukee with the Electro-Liner now at IRM as well as F-units on the Milwaukee Road with the same yellow colors on Union Pacific, & Chicago & Northwestern on Commuter service, with a GP7 on the 400, & even the Red Arrow Lines which these cars look identical to the Electro-Liner, Plus the Milwaukee City Lines with a ride on one of the cars.

Locations include Skokie, the Mundaline Branch & Junction, the Windy City’s elevated loop lines, North Chicago Junction, Milwaukee Terminal, Howard with a ride, Downtown Milwaukee, Howard Cut, & even a bunch of unknown spots.

All of these silent films have added music to go with these footages, as well as winter scenes in the snow.

One of the CNS&M Trolleys is referenced to a Nickel Plate Berkshire on display at Conneaut Ohio, while another is referred to a C&NW 10-wheeler under restoration at Owosso Michigan, & another is referred to a Southern 2-8-0 in Knoxville Tennessee.
