This special photo freight charter features a string of coal hoppers like the railroad hauled until it shut down regular service in 1956. Great action runbys with lots of smoke and good sound from 2-8-2 number 14. After we see a regular excursion train run with fall colors as a backdrop, we watch number 14 heading to the yard, passing the water plug and coaling tower, and head to the turntable and roundhouse. The engine gets serviced over the ashpit before it rests for the night.

The next day features scenes of #14 inside the roundhouse, and then it pulls up further under the stack exhaust hood. There are some nice close-ups before we see it back out of the roundhouse amidst a cloud of cylinder exhaust. Then it’s off to the coaling tower where we see the crew working on getting coal into the tender. After this is finished the engine heads into the Orbisonia yard. There are several scenes of the train being made up. And then we head out, with 14 putting on a good show. We hit all the good spots heading northbound, and then after the engine is turned we see more good views heading back to Orbisonia. There is a grade northbound and Southbound so it works hard in several places. Shot in 2000.

On the weekend of October 21, & 22 2000, Randy Scholl made a visit to the only 3 foot narrow gauge railroad in the eastern part of America, that was chartered & organized by railroad video producer: Dave Goodheart.

There is work on this interesting Steam hauling line in Pennsylvania such as the roundhouse area, preparations in the yard, maintain number 14 before the freight specials, & even a bonus passenger train.

During the segment of the information of the steam engines: Still images of 12, 15, 16, 17, & 18 are included.

At the same month, & at the same year while Randy was visiting the Keystone State, Greg was in Owensville Ohio for the Vintage Car show during production of his VHS only format Title: Classic Cars & Trucks.

Overall, Christopher Kovacs (Trainmaster844) did a fascinating job narrating this program.
