Only one visit to the EBT is enough to realize how special this National Historic Landmark really is. The EBT is one of the very few places in North America where one has been able to see steam powered action AND railroad history virtually untouched by time! With bright crisp 16mm color film, Emery caught all the action from the early 50s through two Winter Spectaculars in the 70s. You will see freight and passenger action, double headers and even triple headers as they work their way up and down the line. This program contains almost two hours of nonstop action!

With the recent return of steam on the East Broad Top, now is the best time to see some classic EBT action! In this program you’ll see videos of the East Broad Top prior to abandonment, then it’s revival, turning into a major tourist line. There are even a few clips of the nearby Rockhill Trolley Museum. This will be an amazing video for those who are interested in the EBT, or those who just love narrow gauge railroading!

Originally released in 1990, this program chronicles the Only 3 Ft narrow gauge railroad in Northeastern America which includes the original roundhouse, manual turntable, coal loaders, hopper cars, electric trolley cars, & of course the Baldwin built 2-8-2 Mikados as they roll on down the dual gauge tracks in all 4 seasons of the year. Not to mention Doubleheaders & Tripleheaders, as well as interchanging with the Pennsylvania Railroad at Mt. Union. Nowadays, the Orbisonia/Rockhill Furnace to Mt. Union line is still active, but the Orbisonia to Alvan line as well as the branch lines to the number 7 spur, Rocky Ridge, Joller on the Coles Valley line, Narco, & Booher are still abandoned. At nearly 2 hours, this is one of the Longest Green Frog titles ever made. Overall, Bob Carerra, did a decent job narrating this program.
