Watch the two sections of an eastbound two engine freight climb the 4% grade of Cumbres Pass. This program will take you back to the time when steam powered freight trains were in regular service on the Denver & Rio Grande Western narrow gauge in Colorado and New Mexico.
Chase –
Awesome footage of Rio Grande’s fourth division as it was prior to abandonment. See Durango’s yard as it used to be and watch freight trains running through sections that are now the preserved C&TS and D&SNGRR. A must have for anyone that loves the Rio Grande narrow gauge and another fine production by Machines of Iron.
