Originally released on VHS only in 1997, this 7th volume of the Green Frog CSX series chronicles all the action in the Sunshine state especially near the railroad’s headquarters in Jacksonville.
Locations include Moncrief Yard with switcher MT15T number 1223 (referred to a Pere Marquette Berkshire on display), Baldwin with C40-8 number 7627 running light in reverse that is recently repainted & renumbered to 9280 after working for a short time on New England’s Pan Am Railway due to CSX purchasing the Guilford system, Laudee, Stark, Waldo, Hawthorne, Luclusa lake, Island Grove, Spar, Ocala depot with 7627/9280 on the Orange Blossom Special, Santos, Bellevue, Dallas at milepost 753, Wildwood, Coleman with the station under massive repairs, Bushnell, Vidas Junction, Stokes, Lakeland with a Woodpecker & a Bald Eagle (note the letter D at the station is put on in Mirrored mode), & ends at Plant City with lots of railroad crossings (the town was named after its founder: Henry Plant).
Some other road names are featured like the Florida East Coast, Norfolk Southern, Amtrak’s Silver Meteor, Seaboard, & Southern Pacific. There are even night scenes at Ocala & Westwood.
