First, this DVD is 1 hour and 45 minutes, not 45 minutes. This actually caused me not to buy it until it went on sale. The DVD is done well with historical commentary about the line at the beginning and minimal commentary after. Locations, train symbols and locomotive types are brief. The entire train is shown and as most are mixed freight, with some unusual flatcar loads, it was interesting. The scenery was nice and because this line runs along the river, there were many shots of the train far away, then as it got closer, the view was trackside. Several shots through tunnels and across bridges were also interesting. I would recommend this to anyone interested in Northeast railroading.
