Return to a time when “Big Blue” still ruled The Pittsburgh Line! Clear Block Productions has done a tremendous job documenting the Conrail heritage of this busy and scenic stretch of railroad. The second part of the two-volume set travels the line from Altoona to Pittsburgh, through places like Horseshoe Curve, Cassandra, Cresson, Lilly, Gallitzin and many others. And along the way you’ll be treated to a nice sampling of locomotive types and train consists. Videography is well done, with creative shots of the trains and the scenery. The first volume in the series covers the line from Harrisburg to Altoona. They’re two of the best in Clear Block’s excellent “Conrail’s Conclusion” series.

I love pittsburgh railroading. This had a lot of excellent footage. Clear Blocks Conrail Conclusion is one of the best video series ever put together. This is one of those. I think Clear Block Productions was one of the best producers on the market. It is a shame that he didn’t get to produce more videos.
