Looking East the first volume in this series gives us sixteen great eastern hot spots: CP Five and CP Potter, New Jersey; Bear Mountain, Selkirk Yard, State Line Tunnel, Syracuse, Lyons, Buffalo, and Binghamton, New York; Allentown, Reading, Rockville Bridge, Horseshoe Curve, Conpit Jct., and Rochester Tower, Pennsylvania; and Palmer, Massachusetts.

In the West locations in Ohio include Ashtabula, Alliance, Crestline, the Cleveland Drawbridge, Berea Tower, Galion, Marion, Port Clinton, Toledo, and Ridgeway. Indiana sites include Elkhart, South Bend, Porter, Hammond, Muncie, and Terre Haute and in Illinois the action is at St. Elmo and Effingham.

    I loved Conrail for its brief 23 year history! My favorite parts of Control are covered: the Chicago Line, the St. Louis lines and Conway to Altoona! In addition, I appreciate the fact that other railroads that Conrail crossed and interchange with are covered as well.
