In Part 4 of Green Frog’s Cincinnati Shortlines series, we follow the Cincinnati East Terminal Railway. This ex-Norfolk Southern’s former Cincinnati District, from Cincinnati to Portsmouth. Before the NS, this beautiful stretch of railroad was once part of the Norfolk & Western.
We’ll see a variety of freight trains from the ground and the cab. This includes the final days of Norfolk Southern operations east of Valley (Mariemont), plus many trains operated by the CCET. Also take a round trip from Ancor to Batavia in the cab of CCET 2807.
