Not long after the CP take over of the D&H we see some fine action of old Alcos, Amtraks, and D&H colours showing their power. Really interesting to watch and see it as things were with a new parent company wanting to expand and save a line from dispar. Welll done

We see the D&H after being acquired by Canadian Pacific in the early 90’s from the Albany area to Rouses Point, NY. There are MLW locomotives, D&H “Lightning Stripes,” leased power, and CP EMD’s throughout the seasons. Great views of Lake Champlain! We see the views from the rear vestibule on Amtrak’s “Adirondak” from Plattsburgh to Saratoga Springs.

I recommended this DVD to everyone who like old Alco and EMD power (like RS23 and SD40-2) alone the Champlain lake. Also lot of yard actions and foreign power like GATX! That is a very cool DVD and this include 2 disc!
