You’ll see a multitude of trains on this route, passing through great scenery, with lots beautiful mountain lakes and lofty peaks as we follow the line from Valemount, British Columbia, up and over Yellowhead Pass, past Jasper, Alberta, then east to Hinton. If you like contemporary railroading, then you’ll want this program! You’ll see a variety of freights including manifests and double stack intermodals, plus lots of passenger action including Via’s “Canadian” and “Skeena” trains, as well as the “Rocky Mountaineer” cruise train.

There are a good variety of diesels between Moose Lake & Jasper at locations like Jasper Alberta with 4-8-2 number 6015 on display, Valemount British Columbia, Von Zuben Junction, Taverna Junction which one leg goes to Prince Rupert, the Mt. Robson snowshed, Red Pass Junction which is along Moose Lake, Fitzwilliam, Yellowhead Pass which is at the BC/Alberta Border with a namesake lake, Lucerne Lake, Jasper National Park, Geike, Snaring Road Bridge, Henry House where the double-track mainline ends at the Snaring River bridge, Jasper Lake, & ends at Hinton (Not West Virginia) on a trestle.
Aside from CN, there are other road names like BC Rail, Via Rail, Wisconsin Central, & the Rocky Mountaineer with a little bit of pacing, as well as some animals.
This is also one of the very first diesel themed Railway Productions titles to be narrated by Lane Venardos.
