Further east, we catch a CN freight near Lac Baker with ALCo’s and a rare Bombardier that puts a on a great smoke and sound show. We also watch CN and Canadian Atlantis ALCo’s at work in St. John, NB. We finish with a CP RS18u working the yard in Newport, VT. Map and narration.

It is great to see the rail action in the greater Montreal district. Lots of freight and commuter traffic on the CNR & CPR. Alco’s are enjoyable to watch, and there are lots here. The only disappointment is that the producer does not spend a lot of time outside greater Montreal in Quebec. I had hoped to see more of the lines connecting Quebec with the Canadian Maritime provinces. Otherwise….. well done.

I love the Canadian mountain passes and this DVD does not disappoint in the least. It is both beautifully photographed and the narration is excellent pertaining to the visuals throughout the entire DVD A must have for all true rail fans.
