The line from San Francisco to San Jose and beyond has been in continuous operation since the 1860s and is one of the busiest stretches of railroad on the west coast. Join us for a tour of some of the most interesting stations and locations on the Caltrain right-of-way in the first half of 2005. See Caltrain’s venerable F40PH and new MP36PH locomotives in action. Witness rolling meets as Baby Bullet express trains overtake slower trains as they speed along the San Francisco peninsula.
Get a look at Caltrain’s connecting railroads, too, including San Francisco’s MUNI, BART, Santa Clara County’s VTA light rail, Altamont Commuter Express (ACE), Amtrak, Amtrak California, and even some Union Pacific. Produced by a professional videographer in cooperation with a longtime railfan, this is a high quality video with stunning footage and plenty of historical and contemporary information about the Caltrain line. Features bonus still photo library with 99 images.

California, the 8th highest economy in the world, a population greater than the nation of Canada. With it is the need for a great commuter transit system. This video does an excellent job show casing a few of the commuter rail systems in the state. Really great to see it all in a video production. Excellent work
Alan Ross –
Great, great film about the busiest stretch of railroad on the West Coast. Seeing the baby bullet trains along the line was awesome. Great scenery and lot of information given. 5 stars.
Alan Scott –
What a great movie, a great look at this line. A great look at the land scenes of the baby bullet train. A fantastic film that is a great buy for your collections

Although this video was produced in 2005 it is still a very interesting and beautiful production which still included numerous scenes with the Baby Bullet Train along this route. Having been to this area and watched the trains while on a business trip, this video captures all of the fine nuances of the are and the rail line. A fantastic production you need to have in your collection.

This is a great look at this line. The line is to be electrified, so this is a view that will soon not be available – even for the engineer! This was the Very first DVD to Be produced by TSG Multimedia, as it has been more than 10 years since Dan Cortopassi, John Abatecola, & Mike Armstrong put together this excellent cab ride.
