This route is dominated by the ubiquitous GE Dash-9, but we will get to see other BNSF locos, in new and old paint. Lineside Video Productions is a professional railroad video publishing firm based in the United Kingdom. They have a series on American Railroads, on European Railways and programs on locomotives and loco rosters. These are quality, two camera, well-narrated programs available in DVD and Blu-ray. You will enjoy these new railfan videos. This is #10 in the USA Railroads Series. This is formatted for North American DVD (NTSC) standards.
We begin our trip through Washington and the Idaho Panhandle to Bonners Ferry – in Seattle: we look at a number of locations on the route through the City that plunges underneath the skyscrapers to the north of King Street station. We see Amtrak Cascades passenger services operated by F59PHI units dwarfed by the giant Seahawks football stadium. A highlight is a GP39M hauling Boeing 737 fuselages from Wichita to Renton.
