Description

Travel to the northern Midwest to see exciting railroad action on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. See the BNSF as their trains roll across the scenic landscape of their North Dakota Coal Line. This rail line travels 373 miles from Fargo to Beach, North Dakota. This former Northern Pacific Railway line was known as the “Mainstreet of the Northwest” and many of the old NP historic depots still survive. With modern BNSF trains on this historic line, it truly is a mixture of new and old.

Video highlights include: massive Valley City Trestle, ex NP depot & grain elevators, unit coal and grain trains, scenic prairies and great plains, Missouri River Bridge built in 1998, mixed freight, intermodals & locals, spectacular national Badlands, colorful BNSF diesel power, and steep grade coal train pushers.

  1. 5 out of 5 An Awesome show.

I have owned this production long before the existence of railfandepot. I was gifted this product at an early age, so I have had it all my life and for as long as it has been available. This is a high quality production. Tons of BNSF EMDs in pre merger colors, lots of colorful coal hoppers, mixed freights and well tuned horns. Despite the SD60Ms being incorrectly referred to as SD60MACS in the narration, it is a long standing stand out favorite in my collection. You wont want to miss this one.
