Description

From Winslow, Arizona to Needles, California, BNSF’s former Santa Fe Seligman Subdivision is often desolate but always fascinating. It runs across most of northern Arizona before turning to the south and into California. With 70-80 trains per day, this line is a vital part of the transcontinental main line. This program features many of the best locations as we watch trains from Topock (the AZ-CA border) to Canyon Diablo, focusing on the “desert” locations outside of Flagstaff, including Topock, Kingman Canyon, Yampai Summit, Hackberry and more!

  1. 5 out of 5 BNSF, Arizona Forest.

before my days of railroad video interest, I could only picture Arizona as “desert land”. Who would have thought that the state is blessed with forest regions like seen in this video. And the colours of the merged railroads that make up the BNSF is strong as ever in this video. Lots of hard working trains doing a great job pulling heavy trains in a very scenic region. This is one of the best videos of the region ever made. Excellent.
