BNSF Burlington Lines

Over 70 trains, from the Belt Line in Chicago to locals and trains running to the Northwest. This is a look at the new BNSF’s important Burlington Northern Line between Chicago and Burlington, Iowa. We’ll see lots of BN color and some new BNSF “pumpkins” too. We railfan the Mississippi River crossing and see TP&W locals off the Peoria Branch.

Locations include Belt Railway of Chicago, Lisle, East Eola, EJ&E Crossing, West Eola, Naperville, Montgomery, Galesburg and West Burlington.

This is vintage nineties footage, shot using nineties equipment. It is not as sharp as programs shot today. Still, these are interesting scenes, many not covered elsewhere, and the narration is informative and top notch.
