Travel to beautiful northern Arizona and one of the most interesting stretches of railroad in the United States, BNSF’s mainline over the Arizona Divide. Visit the line between Kingman and Flagstaff, with great western scenery and over 60 trains a day. You’ll see the split-level track in Kingman Canyon, rugged Crozier Canyon, the remote, beautiful Crookton Cutoff, and the beautiful alpine area between Williams and Flagstaff. This is one of the busiest railroad lines in the United States, the route of the old Santa Fe. Enjoy lots of contemporary diesel action running through great western scenery. Chapter Menu provides instant access to program segments. Watch the program with or without narration.

High-horsepower locomotives in a variety of paint schemes, pulling interesting consists through the rugged landscape of northern Arizona. Kingman and Crozier canyons are stunning, and this program shows them at their best. Expect the usual great camerawork from Railway Productions; the videography is creative and took some planning and effort, and the lighting is especially nice. A fine addition to any collection.

This is an interesting video showing BNSF trains rolling Arizona with helpers and a continuous parade of trains coming this is a video I recommend to your collection.

We start in Kingman Arizona and work east to Flagstaff Arizona. From valleys where the human eye can see for miles with mountain backdrops, to narrow ravines with 2 tracks hugging the sides if hills, we see an interesting array of landforms. There are multiple scenes with more than one train, in the modern colours of BNSF and the fallen flags that make up BNSF, to Union Pacific and other mainline road names, to old lease units some in Conrail colours and others. Even some pusher units working hard. These are mainline long distance trains… general manifests and plenty of intermodal service. And the trains are long in length. The regoin we are treated to is baren and desolate, but heading east, more evergreens do appear. The is little seen of human life outside the towns. Fence lines are apparent indicating livestock in the region, and even a few beef cows pose for the camera. Note the one room abandoned School house along the way showing it’s age and the history of days gone by.
A great video that is well worth it’s money. It will be a favorate here for many years to come. It is one of the best productions I have seen from Railway Productions. I highly recommend this video as a “must have”.

This one has big time winter railroading this movie. See heavy snow action in the famous San Francisco Mountains near the beautiful city of Flagstaff, home to the new GE “Gevo” and the new paint scheme. See numerious locations including Darling, Maine , Chandler, Williams Junction and Eagle Nest, Arizona. You can turn on or the narration, also worth the money and worth the money.
