The long anticipated total solar eclipse (April 8, 2024) lured me to again spend a full day at Berea, Ohio. It turns out this popular train watching haunt attracted many other railfans that. Mondays are usually slow days – yet 50 trains are viewed from rainy dawn through more pleasant twilight. Highlight was CSX “threading the needle” as an eastbound autorack stormed through during the four minutes of totality!
