In Part 2 of volume 9, the date is June 19, 1985, & cameraman Walt Berko is traveling east on Amtrak’s Discontinued Benjamin Franklin from Providence Rhode Island, to Boston’s South Station in Massachusetts. Prequel footage from New Haven to Providence was shown in part 1.

Note that in these almost 40-year-old footages, these scenes were recorded way before Amtrak extended the Electrification Route from New Haven Connecticut to Boston’s South Station, as most of the railroad crossings on the Northeast Corridor minus some in Connecticut were removed more than 10 years after the footage was recorded.

Aside from the 2 Southern New England Cities, there are other locations like Pawtucket, Attleboro, Mansfield where CSX goes west to Walpole & Framingham, Sharon, Canton Junction with a small branch to Stoughton, Westwood on Route 128/I-95/& the Southern Dead End of I-93, Hyde Park, Forest Hills, Green Street, Stony Brook, Jackson Square, Roxbury Crossing, Ruggles, Massachusetts Ave, & Back Bay.

Along the way, there are meets with the Mass Bay Transit Authority Commuter Rail & Orange Lines.
