This is definitely one for the Conrail fans! There is plenty of Conrail engines in this video, showing many scenes that you won’t see anymore in todays railroading.

A great snapshot of the once mighty Conrail system. The footage was shot in all seasons (the snow scenes were especially nice) in a number of iconic locations across the Conrail system. There’s a nice cross-section of Big Blue’s locomotive roster pulling a variety of consists … and some surprises along the way. And it’s all preserved through Highball’s usual top-notch videography. A nice tribute to a railfan favorite.

What a great dvd this is about conrail trains, one of America’s rail lines. See lots of flat land scenes an mountain scenes from all over the oast region. Lots of in your face action and great locations as well. Another great dvd from Highball productions. 5 stars for this dvd.

A great video with a lot of action over a lot of the Conrail system in various weather conditions. Most of the different power Conrail owned is seen everywhere from the flat lands near Lake Erie to the heavy grades in the Alleghenies . Excellent addition to the collection.
