Part travelogue, part railfan video and completely enjoyable! Much of the program is shot from aboard a cruise boat on the Rhine River, with additional video from the banks of the river. Freight, passenger and local rail traffic on both sides of the Rhine, along with river traffic and stunning German scenery. The video includes a narration on/off feature, and a musical score that perfectly fits a tour of Germany.

Beauty at it’s finest. Here is an excellent production showing lots of trains, river traffic, and some splendid old building high on the hills. The scenery is awesome. Note: this is a tourist type video, but still wonderful for everyone to enjoy.

If you have ever wonder what river cruise would be like well this dvd will show you. I myself have been on this cruise up the Rhine river, and it is truly an experence to do. Yes you see wonderful scenery and lots of sights even trains on both sides of the river. You see beautiful castles, lots of river traffic and to see some o ld paddle boats is just awesome. If you like river cruises you will like this film. 85 minutes long, and worth the money. 5 stars.
