Two great railroads bisected the city of Berea, OH. To the north was the New York Central’s water level route and to the south was the Cleveland, Cincinnati, Chicago & St. Louis, the Big 4. They interchanged here under the control of Berea Tower. Chester Kamuda visited this busy interlocking during the Conrail era. Today, the NYC is operated by Norfolk Southern and the Big 4 by CSX. It is still a very busy place. Maps and narration.

Berea Tower, near Cleveland Ohio is a good location for railfans to see lots of action. No disappointment here with the video. Plenty of long heavy weights passing through the region with some loaned/leased power assisting. A fine presentation for all to enjoy

This video is shot all within view of Berea tower but from different perspectives which gives a good view of action there. There are views from the north and south sides of the tracks as well as view ups and down the lines. Multiple trains are seen at the same time as well as trains moving from one line (NYC) to the other (Big 4) in both directions. A multitude of Conrail power is seen along with some foreign power as well. There is some narration but no symbols are given. A map at the beginning shows where Berea is in Ohio. I wish I had been to Berea while Conrail was still around but this DVD gives me a chance to see the action there. I would recommend this DVD.
