Some of the finest narrow gauge layouts are being built in the Pacific Northwest. In this DVD, we see four beautiful finished layouts of well known modelers Paul Scoles, Dave Woodrell, Jim Noonan, and Bill Busacca. You’ll enjoy:
* Paul Scoles’ freelance layout features incredible Sn3 railroading in the Pacific Northwest.
* Dave Woodrell’s Sn3 layout shows us the Rio Grande Southern as it appeared in the late 30s from Ridgeway to Rico.
* Jim Noonan’s modeling shows us the Rio Grande Southern in HOn3 from Ridgeway to Telluride.
* And finally, Bill Busacca’s HOn3 operating layout features the Rio Grande Southern town of Dolores, Colorado in the 40s.

Green Frog captured these layouts as if they were full scale real life. Authentic real locomotive sounds are heard as we follow these trains up and down their respective lines. Professional narration describes the modelers work and the locations that have been modeled.

Kids love Toy Trains, & Kids love Big Trains. So why not visiting 4 super detailed layouts to get the feeling of what normal operations are like in the Colorado Rockies before it was taken over by diesel locomotives, airplanes, automobiles, & big city skyscrapers?

On the first layout, note the flatbed of ERTL John Deere tractors, as well as a model of Rio Grande Southern 20 on both the First & Third Layouts of this video which the real 10 wheeler is thankfully preserved & restored to operational condition at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden.

Before visiting to Jim Noonan’s Layout, a car Ferry boat ride on Pugent Sound in Washington State is included, as well as a model of number 463 which the real engine is at the Cumbres & Toltec.

The guitar tune for this program was also used in TMBV’s Lionel Legends the Hudson.

Narration from Bob Carrera is included as well as interesting sound effects of real steam engines & Galloping Goose Motorcars.
