The “Sierra Pacific Lines” is immense. The railroad occupies a 5000-square-foot room!
One of the most famous model railroads, the Afton Division of Allen McClelland’s Virginian & Ohio, is now gone. Before this HO layout was dismantled, Pentrex taped its last days. The layout is stunning!
The San Diego Model Railroad Museum has four permanent model railroads are on display,: O-Scale Cabrillo and Southwestern, the N-Scale Pacific Desert Lines, the HO-Scale San Diego and Arizona Eastern Railway and the huge HO-Scale Southern Pacific/Santa Fe Tehachapi Line.
