This is a freelanced layout, but it is based on the former Pennsylvania Railroad line from Altoona to Pittsburgh – when Conrail owned it. This is heavy mountain railroading at its finest. This line is now owned by Norfolk Southern, but layout owner Chuck Heynen keeps this 24 by 38 foot HO Scale empire in Conrail Blue! You’ll get to see Chuck’s track cleaning train – that uses diesels to hold the track cleaning fluid! Lots of steep grades and heavy freight action make this a wonderful model railroad DVD. (Originally sold as “Model Railroad Mania” Volume 3.)
