See these shortlines as they travel across scenic Oklahoma and work their railroad lines with locals and mainline road freights. Also there’s great switching action along the lines, industries, yards and grain elevators. These shortlines use plenty of exciting first generation diesel power that look and sound great!

Think back to your best day of train chasing, and it was probably something like this! The locomotives have personality and sound as good as they look, the freight cars offer some occasional surprises (if you look closely!) and the setting … which is often overlooked … is surprisingly scenic. The videography is exceptional, and there’s just the right amount of informative narration. The entire program has a relaxed feel to it … a nice reminder that there’s much more to contemporary railroading than double stacks and Z-trains. Well done, Plets Express!

Being from Oklahoma, I don’t see many DVDs covering railroads in our state, but this DVD is great! Only thing is I wish they would show some of the Stillwater Central in downtown OKC. Otherwise, defiantly great for any Sooner State railfan!
