This Almost 2 Hour title from 2011 showcases a parade of diesels on Kansas City Southern with one AC4400CW referenced to a Big Boy on display in Denver Colorado (4005 that is), Union Pacific with a since retired C40-8 number 9325, Norfolk Southern with since retired C40-8 number 8829, N De M, CSX, Louisiana Southern with WAMX leased units, TFM, & Amtrak’s Crescent.

Locations include Shreveport Louisiana with some subliminal writing on an abandoned building & the city’s Red River Bridge near the space center, East Bossier siding & diamond, Houghton at MP154 (referenced to a Southern 2-8-0 in Knoxville TN), Sibley, Gibbsland, Arcadia siding, Simsboro, CP 110, MP97, MP93, MP90, MP89, Calhoun, the Ouachita River Bridge & Yard at Monroe, Rayville with NS C40-8 8719, MP43, Delhi with NS C40-8 8855, Waverly Trestle, MP24, a John Deere 160D excavator unloading new ties in Tallulah, The Washington Street Tunnel at Vicksburg with NS C40-8 8825, Edwards, the Big Black River Bridge, MP116, Jackson Tower, High Oak Yard at Pearl with KCS 4005 once again, Pelahatchie with NS 8829, East Harmon with 4005, Morton, West Lake, Newton Station, West Hickory, Chunkey, MP16, & ends with a ton of action at Meridian.

Neat video, although not as detailed as their 90’s version KCS & Kudzu. I live on the Speedway and it’s a beautiful piece of railroad.

the Meridian Speedway is another great video for heavy fast trains crossing the USA. And like other producers of railroad videos, this one had to make a video of the region also. Really not a lot of new things in it except for maybe some power like the TFM paint scheme. I like the video…. yes. Recommend it… yes. But if you have a different producer’s video, don’t expect anything to exciting and different.

UP NS & KCS in Mississippi and Louisiana really enjoyed this one
