In this second of three new volumes of the popular Santa Fe Odyssey series, we again go back with Dennis Jenko to the 1990s. See the line relocation and construction of the new Willow Springs Yard. Watch as step by step, the familiar scene with Bozec Fuel and Material is replaced by a new overpass, and interlocking. Enjoy main line action at some Emery Gulash locations and some Dennis spots too, like Verona, Coal City, Streator, Edelstein, Chillicothe, Clovis, Fort Sumner, Vaughn and many more.

Dennis Jenko left the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad in 1988, after 20 years as a locomotive engineer. His post-railroad plan was to find a place in commercial photography, and one of the possibilities was producing train videos. In 1990 Dennis purchased a camcorder and began to capture all his favorite railroads. Living in the Chicagoland area he could film Santa Fe, BN, CCP, “his” CNW, WC, Soo and others. Dennis has always been a huge fan of noted RR film photographer Emery Gulash (his first train DVD was Gulash’s Santa Fe Odyssey, Volume 1) so to follow in Emery’s footsteps is exciting and humbling. We hope you will enjoy this Classic Santa Fe footage from the early 1990s.
