Journey to Northwest Indiana, an area commonly known for steel mills, lake effect snow, and trains! 2 disc setCome along as we catch fast-paced railroad action in all types of weather and in all four seasons. You will see all manner of freight traffic, You will also see action along Amtrak’s 110 mph territory just across the state line in Michigan.

The Chicago, South Shore, and South Bend Railroad is shown, you will see some of its operations west of South Bend and along the street running in Michigan City. If steel mills are your thing, we will visit Norfolk Southern’s famous “CP 502”, with the large Arcellor-Mittal steel mill as a backdrop. We’ll also visit the Indiana Harbor Belt’s Calumet Tower in its final months of operation before it was demolished.
