This was the last air race of the century. Pilots who had been competing for 25 years pushed their aircraft to the “max” with nose-to-nose checkered-flag finishes. The sound of big WWII piston engines and high performance laps surpassed anything ever recorded! You’ll see all five racing classes and all Bronze-Silver-Gold races. The mighty Air Force Thunderbirds thrilled the crowd and Skyfire cameras got afterburner action from all the angles including inside the cockpit.
