RS-1s, RS-2s, and S-3s join EMD GP35s to move the freight at Hallett, Milan, Ann Arbor, Whitmore Lake, Clare, Boon, Yuma, Mesick, Thompsonville, and Elberta. The carferry Viking is also seen. Filmed during the autumn of 1980 by Emery J Gulash and Edward Durnwald.
The second half of the program spotlights the present day Tuscola and Saginaw Bay Railway. Beginning in Elberta with scenes of the carferry City of Milwaukee, locations include Cadillac, Clare, Shepherd, Alma, Owosso, Durand and Howell. A brief look at the Grand Traverse dinner train in Traverse City supplements on-board and trackside views along the T&SB.

One of my favorites, being local this is right up my ally, but the Ann Arbor is quite interesting, you dont need to be a local to appreciate. I think Clear Block Productions was one of the best producers on the market. It is a shame that he didn’t get to produce more videos.
