Four hour sampler culled from 20 or so other Pentrex shows, mostly shot in the 80s-mid 90s. Features most of the mainline excursion stars from that era, several of which no longer run, plus a couple older subjects (UP Big Boys, SP cab-forward) and a few tourist lines (Cass Scenic, Colorado narrow gauge). At this point none of the footage is exclusive to this package, but the volume & variety of coverage makes it a great value.

This was one of my first VHS tapes back when I was a just a little kid. I realize I’m kind of echoing another reviewer’s comment by saying that, but still… Having this entire 4-hour program put on DVD is TRULY quite an accomplishment! Even when not at the discounted price, well worth it… 🙂

I once had this on VHS and now I have the DVD version and it’s great to watch steam locomotives travel across our nation.
