#3985 may never run again now that Big Boy #4014 is back on the rails for the steam program… But this does not mean that we can’t enjoy looking back on these memories once in a while… FANTASTIC DVD!!!

Another interesting video of big time steam running across the American mid west. Nice to see this huge beauty running at speed, showing what it was made to do. The sounds of this beauty is worth owning the video. Great show.

  3. Mwdonoughue

This program showcases 3985’s trip to St. Paul, Minnesota and its return trip to Cheyenne, which includes a night run through Nebraska.

With Pacing, Meets with Freights, A Post-Midnight run through Nebraska, & a visit to Cody Park for Railfest, this is a really good program containing the Once largest operating Steam engine in September & October of 2008. Peter Crooke of Highball Productions was also on the same trip as well.

  5. Zac

    Great video and pacing scenes.

  6. Ron Harber III

Finest video of the Union Pacific challenger 3985. For almost 30 years in her excursion career, she was the world’s largest operating steam locomotive and it always makes people happy whenever it travels.

  7. Kevin Willie

    Awesome Video
