Our look back begins in 1983 and features several excursion trips. We continue with various ferry moves and outings for school kids in 1992 and finish up with several excursions in spring of 1993. These three programs were formerly sold separately and were titled 611 Super Tape 3, 611 Super Tape 4 and 611 Super Tape 5.

Three hours on three discs? Oh my! Pass the popcorn, please! 🙂 It’s a 611 MARATHON! You will thoroughly enjoy this presentation, for sure… I had purchased the original two 1990s programs from Main Line Motion Pictures before I decided to purchase THIS THREE disc set which includes the 1983 portion… You will see some nice vintage footage with a cab ride and the late, great Frank Collins at the throttle. In the 1992 and 1993 videos, you will have the pleasure of coming along on a variety of trips out of Roanoke, Manassas, Lynchburg, etc… It almost feels like you are actually there! The sound quality is superb, and of course, seeing 611 conquer Christiansburg Mountain with a heavy train is one of the greatest shows on earth… I won’t give away all the exciting surprises that await. You will just have to buy this DVD yourself and find out. 🙂
