This video was awarded the “Canadian Rockies Railroad Museum Award for Outstanding Achievement in Railroad Video”. See the Canadian Pacific in the heart of Canada’s spectacular Rocky Mountains, between Field, British Columbia and Exshaw, Alberta. Stunning scenery, snow covered mountains in some superb weather. In addition to CP’s action red SD90MAC’s and AC44CW’s, we caught a rare CN diversion train, the Rocky Mountaineer an CP’s beautiful restored F units on a publicity run of the Royal canadian pacific. We take a look at the Spiral Tunnels, and one of the most spectacular railfan locations on the continent, Morant’s Curve.

This is a Highball Productions best seller.

Obsolutely, the Best Canadian Pacific Video program. Lots of Motive Power variety, AC4400CW’s , SD40-2’s, FP7’s, GP40-2’s, and the only producer, that caught the SD90mac’s , several times. The scenery is outstanding and Peter Crook, is the master of the Videocamera. He knows how, to use the zoom properly, to catch extended views of the Locomotives in action. A great program, everyone should have . Five Stars plus

The Canadian Pacific Railway between Calgary Alberta and Vancouver British Columbia is possibly the most scenic stretch of railroad anywhere in North America. Highball Productions has done a fine job covering the territory. In this video, the line covered is from Exshaw Alberta to Field British Columbia, and takes in the world famous Spiral Tunnels. Many freights are seen, and the tour trains… The Rocky Mountaineer and the Royal Canadian Pacific making appearances. The scenery is awesome, and the locations are the best to be found. And there is lots of wildlife to be seen. I will note the the narrator does refer to the trees and a bit of problems getting good photo shoot locations. Remember, the territory covered is in the Banff National Parkland, so trespassing is not an issue. All it takes for a good location is some energy to do a bit of hiking. Otherwise, this video is as flawless as anyone can find. Well done Highball. Peter Crook and company need to be commended for this “must have” video presentation.

Great scenery and a good view of the operations through the Rockies of CP. Also includes a few shots of the Royal Canadian Pacific with beautiful backgrounds.

Here again another great Dvd about the CP. Featured is the CP Kicking Horse Pass, and the exciting and unusual spiral tunnels. It also features CP freight trains traveling through the Rockie Mountains. With awesome camera angles and locations makes for a great dvd.

I got this as part of the Rails Canada box set. It has a good variety of trains in the rockies, which isn’t the easiest to get, with the spectacular scenery that comes with.

Yet another of Highball’s excellent Canadian-themed films, featuring Canadian Pacific’s Kicking Horse Pass and the spectacular spiral tunnels. This DVD is perfect coupled with ‘Canadian Pacific’s Mountain Sub & Rogers Pass’, also produced by Highball Productions. As in the aforementioned DVD, this one also showcases CP freight trains traveling through spectacular Rocky Mountain landscapes with a variety of camera angles and locations.
