With footage from pre- and post-merger Santa Fe across the Midwest we see the Santa Fe in “full warbonnet” mode. Even post-merger trains feature pre-merger paint. Shot from 1994 to 1997 we feature a variety of trains and locations, including Galesburg, Fort Madison, Kansas City, Corwith. Joliet, McCook, Blue Island and South Bend.

We’ll get a close-up look at the latest ATSF motive power, the Warbonnet dressed SD75M (including a quick cab visit). Go back in time and see the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe in the Midwest.

This is vintage nineties footage, shot using nineties equipment. It is not as sharp as programs shot today. Still, these are interesting scenes, many not covered elsewhere, and the narration is informative and top notch.

This is a great video showcasing the Santa Fe railroad in the Midwest with the new locomotive that the Santa Fe bought in 1995.

Almost 2 hours of ALMOST pure Santa Fe across Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and a little on Conrail in Indiana. A LOT of GREAT trains with just a few red/silver BNSF units. A GREAT resource for someone like me who is trying to capture the look and feel of this timeframe on my model train layout.
