The setting is as great as the trains; together, they make this a nice addition to any railfan video library. The videography is solid and creative, there’s just the right amount of informative narration, the fall colors are spectacular and the sunlight has that rich quality you’ll only find during the autumn. It’s a contemporary look at an historic stretch of railroad, and a story well told by Broken Knuckle Video Productions.

I am so looking forward to seeing this. My brother lived in Delanson and worked for the D&H for 46 years. My grandfather was a D&H engineer and drove the 1500 series Challengers, and my uncle was a freight handler. I grew up near the D&H yards in Oneonta. I often saw trains on this line on my trips from Oneonta to Schenectady. Bring it on!

Autumn is a beautiful time of the year for rail fanning. Here is a great video in the prime of fall colours, with a great variety of trains showing their different colours in a very picturest region . With the narration and screen captions, the video is very easy to follow and enjoy along the way. A fine tribute to the old D&H line
