Just finished watching one of the best railfan videos available covering a very important but overlooked gateways in American railroading. Although it is almost all wiped away by the passage of time, the little railroads of this region were instrumental to America’s industrial might. The excellent color and a small amount of black and white film is priceless and the transfer to the digital format is crystal clear. The dubbed sound is spot on and Mike Bednar’s narration makes you lean into the screen as if you were there dodging the smoke and cinders. So far I have 36 John Pechulis titles, and only 26 more to get!

Well, any coverage of the L&NE or L&HR is something scare and worthy of purchase if those little roads interest you but this is an exceptional video. Great coverage of both of them in steam and diesel days. That should be enough of an attraction but one of the truly great things about JP productions is the narration. Nobody reads a script……….the narration is from experience by people that were there and know what they are talking about. That really raises the bar for me. Awesome video.
